30. Well-Folded Laundry

Dear readers,

First I’d like to apologize for my long hiatus from rectangles. My life has been filled with so much polygony!

Four sides would have been a luxurious relief. But today – today marks a triumphant return to the study of the rectangle – a subject that, we all know, is incredibly influential and significant in today’s world.

Today I cleaned up my room. A few weeks ago, I spent 9 hours doing a thorough sweep, so I really just had to tidy and do my laundry.

As my readers may or may not have noticed, a piece of properly folded laundry makes a nice rectangle. For example:

FOLDING A SHIRT.

1. Hold with collar in hands.

2. Fold into thirds, tucking sleeves behind the front of the shirt.

3. Fold in half.

This makes a rectangle.

Exciting news for an exciting day!!

Welcome home.
